Getting our timing All Wrong

I commented earlier that we’d managed to get our timing completely wrong with the worming. To put it into perspective:

  • you worm twice, two weeks apart
  • there is a recommended egg-withholding period of 28 days
  • this means six weeks of inedible eggs.

Of course this year it just happened to coincide with the girls’ greatest productivity. I could give you the numbers, but frankly that would depress me too much. Instead, here’s what about one week’s worth of eggs (marked with a cross, so we know not to eat them) looks like:
