Eggs. Googs, cackleberries, oeufs, huevos, αυγό, ovos, 卵, eier, яичка, 계란, uova, 蛋, bum-nuts. Chickens and eggs, eggs and chickens. There is nothing like the joy of the collecting the first egg from your own hens. It’s why most people start keeping chickens. This section contains egg facts, photos and figures for our girls. (Yes, we do actually weigh every egg our girls lay. Even the shell-less ones – if it can be carried back to the house, however messily, it gets weighed.) Enjoy. We certainly do!
